Information about some of the missionaries that Oakwood Chapel supports

Oakwood supports a number of missionaries in different places round the world who are working in different ways to both help the communities they're living among in practical ways and bring the Gospel to them.

Here is some information about some of those missionaries.

Lynn Wood

Lynn is working in Papua New Guinea. You can find out more about her here. She was last in the UK on furlough during 2006.

 

David Hillyer

David Hillyer

David works for Fellowship Afloat. The Fellowship Afloat Charitable Trust provides exciting outdoor adventure activities for young people at Tollesbury, on the UK Essex coast.

Gavin & Elaine run an orphanage in South Africa, providing for the needs of children who have been left without parents because of HIV.

Kris & Lois are working in India, training pastors.

Trevor Charlton

Trevor works in Peru, where he is a teacher and is also involved in translating Christian literature into Spanish for publication and affordable distribution to local church leaders.
